Wire-free Asset Management:

All RF Code asset tags feature encoded radio transmissions, low power consumption for long battery life and reduced maintenance costs, and superior anti-collision technology for high-tag densities. Readers:

RF Code’s family of active readers are used in a variety of environments and situations that call for asset tracking and environmental monitoring. When deployed in concert with RF Code asset and sensor tags, our readers give customers an unparalleled asset tracking and environmental monitoring solution that provides real-time environmental data and location precision for all tagged assets, from the rack-level, through the room-level, to the extended enterprise. Our readers are easily installed and work well in both wired and wireless network environments.

Infra-red Devices:

RF Code manufactures infrared (IR) signalling units designed for use in real-time location service solutions. When deployed in concert with IR-enabled tags these products -- the A740 Rack Locator, and the A750 Room Locator -- provide a method of locating tagged assets with room- or rack-level precision. Each RTLS device transmits an infrared pulse pattern containing a unique 4-digit location code. IR-enabled tags monitor their environment for incoming IR signals and periodically report both their own unique ID and the applicable IR location code. Tag transmissions are processed in real-time to quickly locate and identify tagged assets, providing real-time room- or rack-level accuracy. Coverage zones are limited by solid physical structures such as rack doors and walls, however IR transmits within line-of-sight, and signal bouncing effectively floods a coverage zone with the location code.

Centralised Software Management:

RF Code’s Asset Manager and Sensor Manager products provide complete real-time asset management and environmental monitoring solutions. Each product works in conunction with RF Code’s tags and readers, providing up-to-the minute information about asset locations, movement, security and environmental status, without requiring any manual labour to gather this information.

With Web 2.0-based user interfaces, Asset Manager and Sensor Manager give customers the flexibility to easily configure the solution according to their organizational needs and reconfigure when those needs shift.

Customers with previously deployed solutions can quickly and easily integrate RF Code’s real-time asset management and wire-free envrionmental data into their solutions using RF Code’s Zone Manager. Zone Manager software is a real-time location engine specifically designed to simplify the integration of RF Code’s asset tracking and wire-free environmental monitoring solutions with third-party solutions. And Zone Manager comes pre-loaded with integration modules for industry leading solutions-including IBM Websphere Premises Server, IBM Tivoli Maximo, APC NetBotz, and Microsoft Biztalk RFID.
